How to change the decimal point separator in windows 7?

In some cases your windows operating system is setup to use Comma “,” to represent the decimal point separator while the software is using dot “.” To represent the decimal separator. This issue can create inconsistencies in results.

You have 2 choices to fix the issue:
1- Either you use the same configuration that your operating system is based on, in this case the comma “,” as a decimal point separator – this means that you will need to modify all your input to correct the figures.

2- The second option is to change your windows system configuration to accept the dot “.” As the decimal separator.
This can be done by going to
Control panel > Region and Language > Additional settings

Then change the decimal point separator. Restart the software then.
I have attached a screen shot for this.
